Here’s how to get more clicks from your calls-to-action

A MASTER’S IN “LEARN MORE: You’ve seen it a million times, and even after visiting a site for the hundredth time they still use a call-to-action with those two vague and overused words: “Learn More.” Simple adjustments that make CTAs more specific increase clicks – check out this post for some specific examples and how detailed language increases clicks.

Why you should care: Whether it’s to get more information, be taken to a landing page, download a guide, and so on, your university's site should have a variety of CTAs. Making them specific – like, “Download the Report” – is much more enticing than just “Learn More.” Try it out on a page or two and track the change in clicks then feel free to share your findings with us!
